I hate it when my kids get sick. I hate it even more when the sick kid is the smallest kid, aka baby girl. Big kid is just getting over a nasty cough and fever and then this morning, right when I thought all was well, baby girl starts coughing. Middle boy isn't up yet so I am not sure if he is sick as well. Hopefully it spares him. Why does waiting on the the Dr to call back seems like it takes forever???
In any event, it looks like we are housebound for another few days. I was hoping to be able to get them out because I am super bored, but I guess we shall wait. We did manage a spring time walk yesterday, so that was nice. If it isn't too windy today, maybe we will try that again. It was so nice just walking and talking with the big kid. The baby slept and the middle just chilled. It was great!
Anyway, time for coffee. Hope all is well!

Family update!
My kids are growing so fast! When I started this blog my oldest was four, my middle was one, and I didn't even have the babe yet. Now, my oldest is about to turn five in four weeks, my middle is two, and my babe is four months! Where does the time go???
For the middle's second birthday we had a Monsters Vs. Alieans party. This kid has loved that movie since the first time he saw it. He watched it so much on our DVR that he could tell you where the commercials were before they even came on! Since we don't live close to family it was just a nice quiet evening with just the hubby and I and the kids. Kiddo seemed to have a great time and really loved his cake. He is still sleeping in his crib and is finally starting to talk more. He has picked up about five or six words in the last week alone!
As for the big kid, he is also doing great! He has started reading at school and is making a lot of new friends. For his birthday my parents are coming to visit and we are having an Angry Birds birthday party. Since we splurged a lot for him for Christmas we had a very hard time trying to figure out what to get him for his birthday. We decided on Lego bricks. Hopefully he likes the sets we got him. He is still doing karate and will soon start baseball. He has been asking for about a year or so, and since he is finally eligible, we decided to register him. I hope he likes it as much as he thinks he will.
The babe is doing great! She turned four months old last week and has been rolling over for a little over a month. She is so strong and loves to stand up. She is still very tiny (not even 11 pounds yet!) and very healthy! At her well check the dr said she looks great. Her hip click is gone now, so we don't have that to worry about anymore. We are hoping that we hear about our move soon so that we can get her a crib to sleep in. We are hopeful that once she is in a bed and not a pack in play that she will sleep better.
The hubby and I are both doing well. Currently we are just waiting on his company to see where the future will take us. The hubby is hopeful that we will hear something soon. In other news, I am sort of working for the big kid's karate teacher taking care of his basic accounting needs. I say "sort of" because it doesn't involve much and is really easy.
Well, I guess that is about it for the big family update. Hope all is well!

Finally some results!
I know that I promised weekly updates but I just couldn't do it. I didn't see results so I didn't feel the need to post. However, with that being said, I have finally seen some results. I have lost eight pounds and need new jeans!!! Go me! I am so excited with the progress that I have made. I haven't done anything crazy ( I do have a nursing babe to feed) but what I have done has worked. I do 30 day shred when I can and walk on the treadmill. The biggest change though has been my diet. I now have control over what I eat! For me that is a big accomplishment. Portion control was something that I was never good at doing. The only other time in my life when I controlled my portions was when I was training for my figure competition, and it didn't last. Hopefully this time portion control will be something that sticks as I seem to be getting older and not younger! Anywho, I hope you are all having a great year. Be back soon!

Exercise accountability
I have come to realize that my baby weight won't come off unless I have someone to be accountable to other then myself. With three kids it is difficult to convince myself to workout. If however I have someone watching over my shoulder, I think I may do better. So, with that being said, I will be starting a weigh loss post and doing it once a week with an update on my stats. Wow, can't believe that I am about to post this.
Final pregnancy weight: 167 (yikes!)
Today's weight: 142.2
Waist size: 29.75 inches (normally 24 inches)
Hips: around 40 inches. (normally around 36 inches)
Boobs: 37 inches ( normally around 35 ish) probably won't go down since I am nursing
My goals are simply to be what I was before my second pregnancy. I still had about 5 to 7 pounds left when I got pregnant with my third. So, here I go. Time to get with it. So,today I have done a few exercise to try and correct the separation in my abdominal wall. It may be worthless since I have had three c sections, but I guess it can't hurt. Unless I work out close to midnight, cardio most likely will not happen today. Time to get to dancing with the kids I guess! Anyway, time to cook dinner. Until next time!

Busy times!
Man, have we been busy lately! The last few weeks before baby usually go really slow for me but this one has been so different. I guess with having two already you just don't have the time think about what you need done. You just have to do it, or better yet, pray that somehow it magically gets done. Thankfully, I think we may just be ready for this little one to make her arrival! Scary!!!
Two days ago I got my pre op paper work in the mail. Guess I had better get on that, lol! Pretty much the only thing that "needs" to be done is getting the boys an activity bag packed incase my mom isn't here when she decides to come. Hopefully she waits, but who knows??? If she comes when son two came that will be tomorrow! Yikes!
School for the big kid is still going well. I think he is finally learning how to interact with the other kids in the class. The second week was a little difficult for him since he was still learning how to deal with the fact that other kids are different. He came home very upset because one little boy wanted to leave the bathroom door open when he peed and Big kid wanted it closed. Once I explained to him that some people just do things differently and as long as he did what made him feel comfortable he would be fine, he felt much better. He is slowly making friends, none of which are boys by the way, and keeps asking to go back, so I guess that is a good thing. He also asks to do his homework every Friday and the hubby and I are hoping that is one trend that stays with him.
The little one is doing well, too. He was sick the last few days which had me worried because of the hubby having had chickenpox recently. We were right at the incubation period for symptoms to start showing up . Thankfully the fever only lasted a little more then a day and we have no spots!
Anyway, I guess I had better get going. The big kid and I are currently in a battle over last nights dinner and I need to attended to my side of the argument. Hope all is well with everyone!

You know you are getting big when...
Over the last few days it has occurred to be that I am getting quite large. I am still not as big and round as I was when I was pregnant with Son two, but I am still pretty big none the less. So, in keeping with the title of this post, you know you are getting big when:
The only towel in your house that will fit around you just so happens to be a beach towel!
You are ironing your hubby's clothes and standing as close to the ironing board as normal when you notice that your stomach is on fire. That's right. I burned my stomach on the iron because I failed to compensate for my size!
Your boys, the hubby and son one, have both just eaten a big meal and declare " man, look a my belly, it is as big as yours!". Geeze! Thanks guys!
Standing up from the dinner table is impossible because again, I have failed to compensate for my size and have gotten stuck!
I had a really funny day incase you couldn't tell. Anyway, tomorrow marks the third day into my safe zone! I am super excited that as of midnight Baby K will be delivered in our town without having to be transferred away from us( assuming no complications). God is good and has seen us through!
Tomorrow is the big kids first field trip! It was cancelled last week due to weather and hopefully it will be nice tomorrow. They are calling for rain again this week but I think that should happen later in the week. Tomorrow should only include cold weather, which for this big pregnant behind is a very nice change from two weeks ago when we were in the 90's.
Well, I guess I had better get going. Time to relax with the two little people sitting at my feet. It's a Monsters vs. Aliens kind of night.
