Man, have we been busy lately! The last few weeks before baby usually go really slow for me but this one has been so different. I guess with having two already you just don't have the time think about what you need done. You just have to do it, or better yet, pray that somehow it magically gets done. Thankfully, I think we may just be ready for this little one to make her arrival! Scary!!!
Two days ago I got my pre op paper work in the mail. Guess I had better get on that, lol! Pretty much the only thing that "needs" to be done is getting the boys an activity bag packed incase my mom isn't here when she decides to come. Hopefully she waits, but who knows??? If she comes when son two came that will be tomorrow! Yikes!
School for the big kid is still going well. I think he is finally learning how to interact with the other kids in the class. The second week was a little difficult for him since he was still learning how to deal with the fact that other kids are different. He came home very upset because one little boy wanted to leave the bathroom door open when he peed and Big kid wanted it closed. Once I explained to him that some people just do things differently and as long as he did what made him feel comfortable he would be fine, he felt much better. He is slowly making friends, none of which are boys by the way, and keeps asking to go back, so I guess that is a good thing. He also asks to do his homework every Friday and the hubby and I are hoping that is one trend that stays with him.
The little one is doing well, too. He was sick the last few days which had me worried because of the hubby having had chickenpox recently. We were right at the incubation period for symptoms to start showing up . Thankfully the fever only lasted a little more then a day and we have no spots!
Anyway, I guess I had better get going. The big kid and I are currently in a battle over last nights dinner and I need to attended to my side of the argument. Hope all is well with everyone!

You know you are getting big when...
Over the last few days it has occurred to be that I am getting quite large. I am still not as big and round as I was when I was pregnant with Son two, but I am still pretty big none the less. So, in keeping with the title of this post, you know you are getting big when:
The only towel in your house that will fit around you just so happens to be a beach towel!
You are ironing your hubby's clothes and standing as close to the ironing board as normal when you notice that your stomach is on fire. That's right. I burned my stomach on the iron because I failed to compensate for my size!
Your boys, the hubby and son one, have both just eaten a big meal and declare " man, look a my belly, it is as big as yours!". Geeze! Thanks guys!
Standing up from the dinner table is impossible because again, I have failed to compensate for my size and have gotten stuck!
I had a really funny day incase you couldn't tell. Anyway, tomorrow marks the third day into my safe zone! I am super excited that as of midnight Baby K will be delivered in our town without having to be transferred away from us( assuming no complications). God is good and has seen us through!
Tomorrow is the big kids first field trip! It was cancelled last week due to weather and hopefully it will be nice tomorrow. They are calling for rain again this week but I think that should happen later in the week. Tomorrow should only include cold weather, which for this big pregnant behind is a very nice change from two weeks ago when we were in the 90's.
Well, I guess I had better get going. Time to relax with the two little people sitting at my feet. It's a Monsters vs. Aliens kind of night.
